In the second quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Oman showed varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Earth maintained a consistent level of user engagement throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, peaking at around 922 in the last week of June. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight dip in May but recovering to approximately 2.1K by the end of the quarter.

Radar GO-X: HUD, GPS, Maps saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 1.1K in late May. The app's weekly revenue remained steady at around $4. Weekly active users increased to a peak of about 887 in mid-May before declining to 484 by the end of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a slight decline in weekly downloads, with numbers generally hovering around 500-600. Active users remained consistent, averaging around 16K throughout the quarter.

Muslim Prayer - Qibla Compass showed a gradual increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 739. Revenue was minimal, with a slight uptick to $2 in the final week of June. Active users showed a downward trend early in the quarter but stabilized at around 3.1K by June's end.

Finally, Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer displayed moderate weekly downloads, with a noticeable increase to 573 by the end of June. Active users saw a slight increase from around 1K at the start of April to over 1.1K by the end of June.
